Anybody know the lyrics to one of my favorite live Mofro songs - "Harp & Drums"? That dang ol' song just gets my feet a' stompin' but my mouth can't keep up with the words.
And how are ya'll going to know the difference between "Swamp Cracka" (me) and "Swampcracka" (other)?
Now's about the time Mofro usually comes back through Atlanta for some live shows. I'm looking forward to seeing them live again - I burned about 450 calories at their last show. I need to burn off some more!

I actually make up different things each time I sing it so I'm not sure what I say till I say it (Other than the lines that I generally say every time). When I finally record a version of the song I'll fully commit on the lyrics. I did Dirtfloorcracka the same way.
ok I took a shot and it seems like he improvises cuz I checked a few shows and the lyrics change a lot and it's going so fast you can hear some word trippin' goin' on

Sweet! That makes the enjoyment of the song so much more enjoyable! Thank ya'll so much for your efforts in getting some lyrics put up here. It's hard to get the words off of some recordings because J.J. sings into that harp mike on the song a lot.
That's the coolest thing I have ever read on this site...thanks, Mr. Stan! I make shit up everytime I try to sing H&D along with him. The beauty of having no "official" lyrics is that no one knows when you F one up. Wing it, Brother!
